Well, just about done with the Monkey. Have to finish up a few minor things, like running the front der. cable and tuning. But here are the specs:

Frame: 2002 Disco Monkey, small
Fork: 2003 Manitou Sherman Flick (110/130 mm)
Shock: Stratos Helix Expert
Headset: FSA Pig DH Pro
Handlebar: Azonic
Stem: Salsa S.U.L
Brake levers: Avid SD2.0L
Shifters: Sram 9.0 (8 speed)
Grips: Oury lock-on
Seatpost: Titec
Seat: WTB
Brakes: Avid mechanical, 185mm rotors

Wheels
Front: King Iso disc hub, Alex Supra D rim, DT spokes
Rear: Profile Racing disc, same hub and spokes

Drivetrain
Cranks: Truvativ Firex SL w/Raceface bashring
BB: Truvativ Sealex XR, Isis spline
Chain: Sram PC58
Front der: Shimano Deore
Rear der: Sram 9.0SL "Woody"

Hey Slowride, nice setup. I'm glad you finally got the fork situation solved. Stratos, Fox, marzocchi, and now a Flick. Looks good. Rich . I just bought a 03 Z1 to go on my Heckler, sure looks sweet.

That fork thing was a real dilemma for me. I didn't ever think I would be able to get rid of the Stratos!

I really wanted the Fox... but with a trip to Moab coming before the end of the month, there was a need for something that could be delivered in a more timely fashion, and the Sherman was in stock at Jenson for a good price.

I actually came very close to buying a Heckler, around the time I got the Monkey frame instead. Believe me, there were times during this project that I thought about scrapping it all and just buying a new complete bike. Is this a replacement fork, or are you just building it up? Got any pics? :)
