It really is nice.  I live about 5 hours drive south of the Peninsula - day trips can be possible but its better to have a overnight stay in a hotel to fully enjoy the sunsets and evenings not to metion the next day.

It really is a wonderful place.

Wow those shots really bring out the simple elegance of the design.

I think the 957 is the best looking bike of the line. And fast to boot. The way the stem is turned makes it look sleek.

Nice,

Jinder,

No photos yet. I have swapped out the stock wheels for carbon spinergys. And I am having the girvin crossllink forks swapped out in favor of the Nolleen Smartlinks. The shock is blown on the girvins.

When I get it together again I will take photos. give me about a week.

I do like the mean look of your turned down stem [smiley=evil.gif].

Terry,

do you have Rev-X wheels for your bike? if so, you will love them. I swear they give a little suspension on small bumps and such. they are really smooth.

They supposedly break easily, but the Rev-X mtb wheels on my Oz seem pretty darn strong. I broke a rear Rev-X tubular road wheel, but it was used. Who knows how old it was?

suggestion for the Rev-X's: I cut pieces of automobile door edge guards and put them on the edges of the blades (spokes). seems like the edges chip pretty easily, so this protects. a little weight, but not much. I think the protection is worth the weight. the door edge guards are self-adhesive, so they stay on well.

can't wait to see pics of your bike.

JV,

Your pictures really capture the essence of this design. Simplicity, strength, and underlying quality.

I've shopped new bikes for a year now & I can't bring myself to walk away from our old Proflexes. They're just made right.

BTW, your album is impressive. Really enjoyed the skyshots.
