evo fixed[I hope!]
« on: April 23, 2005, 07:12:04 am »
I cracked my seat tube in February and realised I had better do something about it on my last ride over the weekend if I want to consider having any more kids. So got a chap to weld it for me, he charged a JA $1000, [US$15!], now I can start jumping again. I really hope the fix works as i don't want to retire this bike just yet, even tho i got a bullit  on the way. Anyone else tried welding broken aluminum frames?

Do it often. Should work fine if you used the right rod. You will be good for quite some time until the next crack surfaces.
