This figures, doesn't it?!?!?!?!  >:(

I JUST won the 5000 and now THIS pops up! I sent him an e-mail to see if he'd measure the frame, as he doesn't list the size. It looks like a medium in the pics, but who knows without something for perspective. I'll go for it for the swingarm, but it's not a cheap piece (relative).

Does anyone know if the swingarm size would be different between frame sizes??????? I don't think it would be, but you never know.

What a kick in the nuts! I bet he was waiting to see what the other frame (now my 5000) sold for. I've seen it before.

Oh well, it's only money. Thanks Wankel!

If anyone else is interested might it be a good idea to speak up here? I want this, but only for the swingarm.... maybe.

The only reason I won't bid on that is shipping. I fear the unknown.

Very nice find, Jeffhop.

Why do I have a feeling this is going to be an expensive summer? [smiley=laughing.gif]

EDIT - and this is EXACTLY what I wanted to do with the 5000 frame I just bought.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=98083&item=7149053852&rd=1

I asked the seller about the size of the frame that Wankel originally posted. He posted that it's 19" from BB to top of seat tube, and 21.5" from center to center of seat and head tubes. Big/Large size????? That would mean my 3000 HAS to be a Way Big.

Terry - agreed on Jinder's ride. 3000's dream to look THAT good. (wipes slobber from chin) My fave, along with the white/blue Evo that someone here has (sorry, can't remember the name).

Sounds like a small. The toptube on my large is 23.5 center to center and my medium is about 22.5. Looks like a small to me too, but the camera angle could be deceiving...

I have to agree with Matno, my 5000 is 23+" c2c  and mine has a sticker on it still that says large.  hmmm. He wants alot for it, but if theres no dents - paint or a good polish always does wonders. My OZ is a large , and the feel is identical between the 2 (to me, with my set-ups).... so,.. I'd say IF he measured it right, it has to be a small :( .  I like smalls for tech rides, but not for anything else - and I'm not tall ( 5'8" - on a good day ;) ).

I thought I'd add one more that's on ebay. But this one is NOT poor looking (it's a LARGE) - and is paired with an alum. x-link fork up front, and an NR4 rear shock (looks like).

Wankel,

Not  a bad frameset. If it went for $300 or less it would be a good starter bike.
