Having a clearout (some parts up for grabs)
« on: April 07, 2005, 05:01:22 am »
Decided to have abit of a clearout so here are some parts up for grabs,
2 sets of vector forks in bits but not complete but there may be a part here someone requires,
Brand new USA made Nr2 shock never used 450lb spring i2i 209mm.
Nr4 shock Used but rebuilt in april 02 little use there after as replaced with risse,i2i 209mm,450lb spring plus a much lighter spring of unknown weight.
Rear ODS shock plus loads of hard elastomers front and rear (someone may want them [smiley=laughing.gif]).
A universal rear disc brake adapter with skewer and torque rod (ok for rigid bikes with short stays or sussers without struts).
hopefully there's some part there that someone is in need of.

Afraid not,it will if you used an 856 strut (which I had but cut up for project [smiley=upset.gif]),
it could be made to fit with an adapter (bracket) but if you went to that trouble you would be better off adapting using a more modern coil over or air shock.

I'm a newbie looking for help!  Will any of these shocks fit a Vector 2 fork?  I am looking to replace the elastomer shock.  If so how much for them?

Sorry no  :(, the rear coil over shocks are for an Oz or an Evo,I do have an ODS unit for a vector 2 but you should already have one.

Hi Simon,

I have Some Girvin Elite Crosslinks, do you reckon that the head tube would fit these forks? Somebody has cut down the head tube on these and I need a new one. They look the same, I have some Vector forks too. How much for the headtube?

Thanks
STeve
