Proflex 750?

My first post!
In the local classifieds (well, not so local) theres a K2 Proflex 750. Or it could be a 7500. I know nothing about K2 bikes.
It has a Noleen Chubby LT fork on it. With a Noleen rear shock, and the bike supposibly has 5" of travel.
What are the specs on that bike? I have a 03' schwinn Moab DS3 right now, and was looking at this for the fork and rear shock. Mine now are made by RST.
Would the K2 stuff be an upgrade? The bike is $200.

They might be a
bit
of an upgrade (?) but not worth the $200 you mention. As a spare bike, the whole package might be okay, but that's pretty outdated suspension technology. I'd look for something a little newer (suspension took a huge jump for the better after about 1999). The Chubby is probably a couple years older than that, and while it was the bomb back in the day, I still occasionally ride my father-in-law's, and it sucks compared to even a cheapo Manitou I had in 2000.
