Bottom Bracket Question
«

I have a 02 razorback team.
My bottom bracket wore out on me.I e-mailed K2
to get the specs on size 68mm/113mm.I order a new
race face BB because I have race face cranks.Well taking off the old one,( it is a truvative BB),and the 5 mm spacer is on the cap side of the BB.The Race face 5mm spacer is on the right side of BB.
I put the race face BB on with the spacer on(the right side). The front Derailer was shifting funny. So I took the spacer out, put it back together and it shifts great..
Now my question is....
Is this ok to run like this?
Are my cranks going to be off by 5 mm compared to the frame?Everything is tight and it pedals fine..
Need help... should I run it like this?
Thanks Goose

if everything is tight, nothings rubbing, it shifts fine (front and rear) and the chainline appears good -
ride it
