Girvin Vector 11 Fork

Where can i get a replacement spring for my Girvin Vector 2 fork to replace the Micro-cellulor-eurathane which has hardened with age and is useless.

Hi,
quick cheap fix - replace the " Micro-cellulor-eurathane" (MCU's) - see my posting on "new "ProFlex K2 Elastomer MCU" for sale"  they're on ebay and (I think) very good value.
More expensive ($100?for both ends) and maybe not available anymore:-
Speedspring conversion kit - I did this on my XP-X (856) it includes a spring and some spacers and makes a world of difference - BUT I'm sure is only any good if you have a post '95 bike with dampers (ODS or GDT) otherwise you'll just have a pogo stick!
OR: get a Noleen unit, but I don't know which one will fit the Vector, also it depends on what bike you have as to what will fit on the back.
Finally:- Most expensive - Replace the entire MCU unit with a modern shock - I have no experience of this or what would fit, but I'm sure other "Heads" could offer advice if you go this way. (probably cheaper to replace the fork?...)

colin is right...you may be able to get a shock for the girvin but even a second hand one would probably be more expensive than a used telescopic or crosslink.The noleen for a girvin is different than a x link.In the meantime the is a post at the top for a link to new MCU..until you find a replacement.I am sure there was a link to an ods shock here somewhere to,but i cant find it,dont know if it is a front or back unit.
