Replacement for Smart Shock
« on: July 26, 2004, 04:20:25 am »
I own a '98 K2 animal with a rear smart shock on it.  I'm a big rider and want to replace it with more robust after market shock.  Does anyone have experience with this shock?  Can you suggest a particular manufacturer that I should approach? The smart shock is unusually long because it passes through the frame and I've been unsuccessful tracking down a replacement with similar dimensions.

:-[unfortunately, risse is the only company that makes a shock to fit that frame. someone said that they found a fox that had a long shaft extension, but i never saw it.
there is a link to risse and risse has a pic of their shock on your model of bike.
