Cant tell what frame i've got
« on: July 15, 2004, 05:40:23 pm »
i recently purchased a frame but am not 100% sure its what i asked for. It fades from black to green has rounded piping has Yellow lettering "PRO FLEX" and a "Beast" decal on tt. any research i have done on this has led me even more confused. Thanks to anyone who can lend a hand. By the way I am being told its a 2000 or 2001 K2 ProFlex Beast.

if you'd like to see a pic to help, I'll need your address first. I dont have a website with it posted and cannot attach it here either so drop me a line and I'll send it that way. Thanks again

::) ???well, if it says proflex and doesn't have k2 on it, it's a 1997 or older model. i would guess, by the color, that it's a 1995 or 1996. k2 bought proflex around '96 but didn't put k2 on the frame until '98.

black to green was the color of a Beast GDT -

girvin al, magura hs-11's, gripshifters and DigIn.

OP

(as i recall, the regular beast had a chubby)
Yeah, they don't make 'em anymore - it's a classic - - -

That sounds like a 96 proflex beast. I had two if them, I'll see if I can post a pic later.
