Wanted: Crosslink
« on: June 29, 2004, 11:26:24 pm »
Hi All,

I've just bought an 857 frame off eBay

but it's got some "straight up and down" Rock Shox on it, not superb Girvin "J-Path" Crosslinks!

Anyone out there got a set to offer me?

(or know where I can get a set)

Not Way Big ones!

Carbon preferrably!

Must be good condition and complete.

I'm in the UK, but US Postage might not be too bad...........

This is joining my XP-X (856)

Only 8 years behind the times, but hey, when the bike's that good you don't need modern rubbish.........Hmmm, well maybe a 4500 / OzM would be nice!

Regards

I am after some to. I am in the UK. if you find a source let me know. I found Cambria bikes in the US do ones Noleen crosslinks with smartshocks for £130 inc p&p ($210 dollars). If you wanna see if they are willing to do a double discount deal, (doubt it), let me know.

cheers,
D

Hey Junkster........
I've had a look on their web site but can't find them?
If I can get a pair of Carbons with shock for £130 then I'm definately up for them!
More info please!

Hi,
Damn it, turns out the site is old - (new I was too keen). Here it is:

http://207.198.92.194/SALE/fork/

I was talking about the alu legged crosslinks, though you can see they also had the carbon versions.

let me know if you find any others available.

cheers,
Dan

PS do you have any other Proflex supplier tips/contacts in the UK?

I have a used Crosslink with a working smartshock.  It's not carbon but is in great shape.

If you're interested, make me an offer.
