Simon,

How has the SID been with the B4?  Does it stay aligned under heavy braking?  I read how the disc setup can bring much more force into our forks so was wondering what an actual riders findings might be.  That's a nice spec too, I agree mine sounds a wee bit hopeful but the 30-80 grams per part across an entire grouppo adds up, some examples might be the FRM stem which is around 118 grams, Action Tec b.b.at 142, or SRAM Plasmas at 175-180. I weigh 135 so don't worry about what might be too light.  Probably should!  I'm going to check Nigels posts but offhand would you know if his rear SID has 50mm stroke and doesn't cause the swingarm to contact the frame at full bottom?  My checking here with a tape measure shows a shock will need 8.25 e2e to just clear at full bottom. THANKS

Scott, can't help on the rear sid stroke front, though I know it doesn't contact the frame at full compression,to make it fit he did have to do some machining on the evo frame, nice job though,my sid's have been great (I'm 168Lbs) brakings been fine very little flutter, they do the job there designed for, light xc fork, expect any more you've got the wrong fork, though I could do with 100mm travel, worry about that another day, with your weight and bike spec can't see you've anything to concern you, [smiley=nod.gif]Simon.
