When I put my wife's bike's 28.0 seatpost in, there was a very little play - before I buy a shim for my 25.0 post do you think it's actually more likely to be a 28.2?

Anybody actually got a 753 with a seatpost in it they can check please? ;-)

I went by what Sheldon Brown said for the 752 (before I found out that I had a 753 after all when I collected it!), bought a 27.0 and it was rattling loose :-( so now need to get a 28.0 as I'm sure that's what I need.
