I keep posting but no one seems to care that I have a 200mm Fox Float RL on both the front and rear.  I am 220 lbs so the heavier dampening (where it is a rear shock on the front) doesn't affect me much.  I had adapters made, and had to have the USM milled a little to clear the valve.  I run 45psi in the front, and had to back the rebout dampening all the way soft to keep it from throwing me over the front.  I would like to send it to Push to get it custome valved.  I feel that right now it is at 90% of what I need it to be or what it could be with some dampening changes.  I love them and the shocks dropped a ton of weight.  I can actually get my machinist to make you a set of adapters.  The new version of what I have are the RP23's I think.  I don't know if this shock will clear all the linkage or not.

I care!
I'd love to have air shocks on my Oz.
Can you do me a set of the adaptors?

New here and I know this has been addressed, but I wanted to post to get the latest opinions.  I have a 1998 Noleen Cross-Link ELT with smart shock (electronics still work!) and a 1996 Girvin Vector 2 with melted MCU.

What's everyone's quick opinion on shock replacement for each:

1.) Noleen Cross-Link ELT with smart shock?
2.) Girvin Vector 2?

IMHO
2) COR coil spring conversion on an ODS is simplest.

Jazclrint,

Do you have a sketch or drawing of the adapter you'd be willing to share?  I know a tech high school machinist student who is looking for small projects and I'd love to have the flexibility to change to an air shock in the future.  Thanks!

I actually lost the drawings, sorry.  I would love to do them back up, but I am so busy with school (senior year of college) that I don't have the time.

Oh, and thanks for the heads up on the missing bolt guys.  I seem to be losing about a bolt a month.  My 2000 never had these problems, so it has caught me out.  but I am pretty sure I lost that on the last ride as I went through all the bolts recently.

Oh, and I can get a set made, but I would like to have a the shock and I need the UMJ to match up threads and to mill clearence for the valve.  But I need some time.  Can you wait until after Christmas?

Thanks again,
Rich

The bolts would have originally been threadlocked, You may want to refit use them using threadlock to prevent losses!.

The newest FOX float has an angled valve which may make fitting that much easier, I need something as my front (and rear for that matter) noleen shock shaft is corroded and pitted  :'(
