thats the assumption...and one of the 959's (Mike Billetts aka Hammer) was stolen

i have an "OZ" frame that has a 959 decal on the top tube from Hammer and a Pro~Flex decal as well on the bottom tube and maybe still some "hammerhead" decals....my son rides it now. i think it was just a "progression" from the series, but hence, why not 957? there was reasoning, but i can't remember why.

Yep. The natural progression would be 958(1998), 959(1999).

Which makes me think, the really good stuff came out in the last millenia.

Hello chaps,

Here we have an unloved and horrible Proflex 550 available for FREE GRATIS AND FOR NOTHING.

Comes complete with a horrible Stronglight roller bearing headset, horrible flexstem and horrible forks. Be under no illusion, this bike is horrible and I'm not being generous in giving it away. I greased the headset but it is knackered where some animal had banged it in with a screw driver. The forks are knackered because to get the crown race to fit the afore mentioned animal has filed the crown down. The same said animal to complete his idiocy fitted too narrow a seat post and tightened the seat clamp so as to put a small crack in the seat tube. The flex stem has not escaped unscathed either, it has seen the attention of some hammerite.

If this does not put you off you are welcome to it! Collection only from Horsham, West Sussex. I live close to the station so can drop it off there.

Alas the freebie Proflex is no more.

Someone wanted some scrap tube to fix another frame so it has had an angle grinder taken to it. Forks, flexstem and swing arm are still free if anyone wants them, can post too.

Also my NR4 that has seen some use, but in good shape. I don't know what it's worth, so I will start with I'm looking for trades for another shock with a shorter eye to eye measurement. I will post the lenght I'm looking for.

I will also include the front and rear derailleurs. Front is LX and Rear is XT. $100 plus shipping! I just don't want it to go to waste. As far as shock trades I'd like something about the same as the NR4 with a 6"(154mm) center to center of eyes.

I have a set of Carbon legs for Vector 2s (i presume).

I wanted to fit them on my crosslink, but they they have a different top pivot diameter.

I want to do a straight up trade for Crosslink Carbon Legs, if anyone is interested.

The carbon is not cracked, or damaged. The aluminum parts has some scuffs and lost paint, but nothing structural.

good stuff did happen....the carbon frame was built (all of them in two runs) in 1998 though, right? all i remember was the ediscountbike.com outlet having these for $500 i think

Ediscountbike, that is where I got mine from. $799 for frame, and crosslink with smartshock.
