For sale; Risse Astro-5 rear shock from an 857. Looks like new and may fit other models but sadly, does not fit mine (small frame 757). Looking to get $250 for it plus shipping (will ship overseas), paypal preferred. PM me here for q's and info....

I reckon our friend Callum is gong to do what I was going to do.
He's going to take moulds of the frame and start producing them !!!!!!!!
There is a company in st Annes Chapel near Gunnislake Cornwall that can make the moulds to do the job.

Me thinks this is what he is up to

Plus, why would anyone try to replicate the poor standover clearance on that frame...if anyone replicated it I hope they'd rethink the top bar. I tend to like larger frames with more of a road bike ride, but know the pucker factor that comes from certain types of riding on such machines.

Not completely certain, but this looks like it might be a 4000? Pix in the ad don't show any decals specifying the model, but there is another 4000 posted and it looks very similar...

Yes, I saw that too. The frame decal doesn't have the "4000" in the same place it appears on mine, but otherwise the frame looks exactly like a 4000 frame. Shock is definitely wrong, though...my rear shock is over 8 inches long. Swingarm looks decent, though.

Yep, that's a 4000, with completely the wrong length shock on it, looks like something cheap and nasty.........? Chinese?

someone encountered the perennial problem of replacing a Noleen.............

Looks like a good frame that might go cheap and we've got lots of ideas on here on what to replace that shock with!

I have a used set of Girvin Vector 2 forks with new K2 13943-2H elastomers that are still pliable
(pics don't show them on - but they are now)!
I also have a copy of the Service Manual I will include!
I do not have the complete head set!
I may also have some spare parts I can include!
These forks are pretty clean. The insides of the friction damper is clean and the sad ball is in good shape!
I have a later model set with the spring over oil damper, and don't need the Elastomer/MCS version any more.
These have not been used since I intalled the new MCU's!
I know these go for a wide range of pricing on E-Bay, and I could go there, but for now I'm going to post them here!
I live in Cincinnati, OH and will ship within the US at the Buyers expense!
I'm accepting the best offer!
If you have any questions I'll try to answer them!
