Like buses you don't see a bargain in ages then they flood the place, someone is going to get lucky , carbon cross link with smart shock and a spare fork albeit without the shock, result!

Hey all ...

Selling my K2/ProFlex Beast mountain bike.

The bike is a mid/late 90's model with full front and back suspension and hydraulic brakes. Tires are in excellent shape and there are two new inner tubes in them. Brakes and suspension also in excellent shape. Brand new gel comfort seat also installed on the bike.

The bike is sized for a person about 6'00" tall.

Asking $200.00 for the bike, please email me if you would like to see the bike or interested in buying.

Some details others have asked about the bike;

What size frame is your Beast (their should be a label on the frame just above the derailleur somewhere - typically SMALL - MED - LARGE)?

The frame is a size large.

What are the front and rear suspension compontents (brand, type, ect - Girvin, Noleen - Spring over ODS or Elastomer and ODS)?

Noleen on the front shocks.
Handle bar is a Titec HellBent.
Girvin on the crankarms.
Shimano derailleurs

Any frame or swingarm damage?

Aside from some scratches in the paint, no.

What type shifters (trigger - twist)?

Twist shifters.

Are you the original owner?

Second owner.

Do you have pictures of the bike

First post so be gentle.....

I've just bought an 856 frame and am looking for a good set of vectors or crosslinks to pair up. I'm not worried about molten bungs or anything like that as I can get that sorted. If you know of anything or any one then I'd be grateful.

If possible UK but I'll buy from anywhere (at a reasonable price; import duty scandalous

) for the right kit.

We like pics if you got em.

Vectors are good but crosslinks are a better match for your 3 plus inches of rear travel. Personally I love 4 inch travel forks like the Noleen Mega Air.

HELP! HAS ANYONE GOT ONE OF THESE?

A bottom spring washer for a NR
1/3 of my morning commute (downhill) is on fast rocky track, one of the many obstacles threw the bike up with a loud crack, on landing the back end was all over the place so I thought I had a pinch puncture. No time to look down though, that section's tricky. Eventually sat down, lower than I expected; and got a chance to look down...
Coil on the swingarm shock on the bump stop.
The bottom spring washer just pushed through!

Thing is, it's my commute set up and I haven't got the race bike rebuilt yet.

So I'm a bit desperate

Luke, if you have not been successful yet, you might try a motorcycle shop, auto parts shop or your local bike shop. A lot of these retainers are a common fit.
