My new 855 traded strait across for the 755 I bought a few months back. In a round about kinda way the Vector II forks that came the 755 were free. Sometimes I like to reject reality and substitute it with my own LOL

Ok I seem to be the new guy on the block. Hey Everyone.  I found this site looking for a disc break adapter for my evo 900. Thanks to { racesrc } I now have one. Custom made and worth every penny. The disc are going on this week just in time for the snow.   My ID  Dr.Z This is what my friends refer to me as because I like to fix anything that screams Help. So I found this evo 900 on Craigs list looking pretty sad. So of course I found my next project. It was completely dismantled, Repainted, Mechanically restored, and now almost completely upgraded.

First pic is the frame after tear down
Primed and ready for paint
Everything in between and almost done upgrading
Something you don't see to often anymore. Salvaged with care from the original paint
Check out the full short gallery
Completed May 2010

that looks pretty damn good. i think im going to leave the main triangle paint the way it is for a while, but next month im going to remove the swingarm and have it powder coated gloss black. ill have to disconnect the rear brake line then blead it all over again. not the easiest task. i like your fork and i deffinately want a new rear shock like that one or the fox rp23.

Hey Dave nice ride like the front shocks. Did you swap out your BB with external bearings? Also do you know what the inside mesurements are on the 819 mavics.  The new rear shock was a great bump up, and the fox is the better of the two I belive it has the full lock out feature. The rock shock Im using only has a three position gate.  Not quite a lock out but very close. The only problem with the fox is trying to find one at a good price.

Tubeless that's sweet. Are you running some stans sealer in those. I started using it this spring after a suggestion of thorn tubes and then several flat tires riding the winter debris trail. It's amazing what collects under the snow.Thorn tubes were a waste of cash. Stans best buck I ever spent.  Got a tell ya that blue is awesome.  Anyway I'm sitting here doing several upgrades. One is going to be the discs and new adapter. Do you happen to know what the thread size and pitch is for the holes in the drop out. New add ons will be xt plus shifters. front xt hub, elixir hydraulic breaks and the adapter blacked out.  Got a 4am ride in to work on Monday and hope the new gear is ready to roll.

Thanks Dan
