For sale Fox TALAS Float RL rear shock.

This shock is used but is in excellent near new condition. It was on my wife's bike and she hardly ever road it. It fits the EVO series K2 bikes, like 3000 4000 5000. It may fit other models as well. Eye to Eye is 210mm x 2 inch stoke. Includes to correct size adapters to mount it on your bike. The swing arm bracket requires a small notch cut to make room for the air valve. Very easily performed with a round file. Cost $400 new, Asking price is $160 USD for this rare item. Shipping is not included. Item is located in the USA.

Features:
TALAS = Travel Adjustable Linear Air Spring. Meaning you can adjust the travel of the shock in 3 different preset heights in 1/4" increments by turning a switch
R= Rebound adjustable with the red knob
L = Lockout with the blue lever. Lock the rear for those long smooth climbs or any smooth surfaces.
Float = Air spring adjustable by using a shock pump to match rider weight and style. Shock pump is not included, it takes a standard shock pump.

You might be right! Aren't OZ frames much lighter than the x57s which I believe are ~2.7kg including rear shock?

Just saw this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220749013082 - I don't know how he managed to get his seatpost down beyond the stop, one little bump and it is going to trash the rear shock, if not already.

the seatpost stay is made like that on those models (and lower)...wife has a 900 and its the same way. I thought the same thing too, but the design is such that they pivot in sync so he's got enough clearance there to be OK. just looks like a turd though.

Someone got a smoking deal on that. A 4500 sold on there a few months ago for over 900.
