Woohoo! Found a ProFlex Animal on Craigslist in Everett WA. Got it for 250. It'll need some work on the bb and maybe a chainring, freewheel and chain but the rest is adjustments. Now I have two to maintain along with a carbon link fork from cl a couple weeks ago for 50. When someone comes to visit, we can attack the park in the dark with lights.

Aluminium swingarm to fit k2 4000.......so long as its dent & crack free paint is not a problem.

) , I know you will know this already but the 4000 came with a carbon swingarm so I guess what you need is a evo Disco monkey style swing arm?
I dont have one but does anyone else?

My feelings exactly on the not enough proflex prophylaxis to suit. Space is at a premium though as I am setting up a mini-machine center too. I expect some shiny bike bits will be milled/turned after the fuel injection project is done. I have retired since joining this forum so have a little more time for projects.

Yeah!! got the carbon arm but the shock mount is coroded.... so either get a new one machined or get an alu arm.

Like the idea of alu so i can paint it

I have a fine 854 looking for a good home, along with the bike I have a Girvin Vector 2 for complete and an extra rear shock.

Hi guys.

I need a x57 style rear strut.
I have a Manitou Swinger 3 here for almost a year, and I want to weld some plates to the strut so I can mount the shock directly into it.
I don't want to damage the original strut, so I could make use of a spare one to mod it.

Anyone with a spare strut for a x57 bike?

They are really hard to find, aren't they?
We can find all sorts of parts for the Proflx bikes, but not the strut... I wonder why...

I have a 200mm i2i swinger 3, but I need a 190mm.
If I could get a 190mm one, I would make an adapter, but I can't find one for a good price.
The modified strut would allow to use the 200mm shock.

I won't be bidding...heck, I only just sold one of the Way Big frames I was trying to unload. Sadly that didn't stop me from jumping at a $50 857 frame I saw on my local Craigslist last night...we'll see what happens with that.
