Dark Side

Well, I've been won over by the dark side [smiley=depressed.gif]...just ordered a new Heckler to replace my tired Evo.  Kudos to Angelo at Phat Tire for all the help, insight etc.  Still have the Razorback though ;D

Well getting my Evo 2 years ago was the start of the darkside for me.

I was the first one in my riding group to get a 5 inch fork, 6 inch disc brakes, wide rims and fat tires.  My bike also was about 10 pounds heavier then my buddie's bikes.  They all thought I was nuts. :o

Fast forward to the present.  My bike now looks like a XC bike compared to what my buddies are riding now.  (Bullets, Stinkys, etc.) They've got bigger forks, eight inch discs and more travel.

Looks like I'll have to keep up with them ;)

I know what you are saying my evo was really trick with a RC rear, one of the first Fox Forxs in New Zealand and hopes, mavis etc even the K2 rep was shocked at what my evo had become, as with you a couple of years later and my mate just got his stinky delux and every where I look dudes are cruising round on 7,8,9 inch travel rigs, the evo still can hold its own not bad for a 5 year old bike. dmc

still tempted to splash out http://www.keewee.co.nz/index.asp?PageID=2145824317

I'm hoping it'll be here by the end of the week.  There's still good in me...Heckler's are single pivot...but you don't understand the power of the Dark Side [smiley=depressed.gif]

Wow-a 3 year warranty on the Keewee cromoTOZE, a bike meant for abuse!  Can't help but like the name too :)
