I want a new crank for my Proflex 856. Which crank is good? Cheapest to most expensive(hoping for a good cheap one) ;)

cheap/good would be a Deore (circa 2001?) square taper to fit your BB.

 :) If the BB needs to be replaced as well you might think about doing both. The XT BB & crank should run about $100-125 us. The XT stuff lasts a long time and is durable.

Pricepoint has the raceface prodigy XC crankset plus BB for 99.98.  It uses the ISIS BB so not sure how reliable these things are.

I love the look of the race face cranks though.

I just dropped my money on a new fork, if i hadn't i might have bought it.
