Next one along with the natural wood door :D.  15.5 mph is good going. My ride was 18 miles with a 50/50 split of road and off road with an average of 8mph. The 50% off road is mostly up hill! That's my excuse..

My daughter asked where the photo of her had gone so I said I'd post this again.

You know, I don't think this sort of thing was around when I was a little kid... but if you try to put yourself back to that age, going for a ride like this must be an absolute blast!  Better than an amusement park ride!  No control, front seat view... what could be better?

I'm a lucky dad as she loves going on the bike. Only problem now is it's hard getting out for a serious ride because my daughter want to come every time!

Winter is here and the leaves are falling. It sure makes the trails look colourful.

I rode some trails I haven't been on for quite a few years this weekend and found these mine entrances. It's a old lime mine that goes down 20 meters into a cavern below. I used ride this area all the time and must have ridden around them so many times but never noticed them.

Happiness is a muddy Proflex!

Nasty... did you have to rebuild the Fox shock after that?   ;D

:D thankfully not. I'm actually very impressed with these Fox shocks. They really do make a difference to the way the bike rides. The pro pedal eliminates any pedal bob on road and up hill. Then a flick of the lever and full active comes in for down hill and rough stuff. Very plush. The big plus for me is that where as Noleen shocks are so difficult to service in UK, I have a main Fox dealer 4 miles from my house. I can strip and rebuild the shock and forks my self. No Nitrogen needed!

Looks like the one on my Giant... although the mud is a bit thick to know for sure!  The colour of the lever is the giveaway.  Mine has three positions for climb, trail, downhill and I agree, it's a beauty!

I went out on my first proper ride yesterday since the birth of my second daughter 10 months ago. Spare time has been minimal. I enjoyed it so much but was worn out after! Surprisingly I didn't hurt too much the day after. I took the Oz as it's still my new toy and rides so nice.  :)
Anyone else been out lately?

That looks like a nice forest to ride in, Spokes. Kinda wish I were there.

I guess I'm lucky in that I live on the outskirts of the city so it's about a 30 minute ride and I'm in proper forestry. Once there you can ride for miles without crossing any major roads.  If you drive you can get to a number of bike centres with graded routes for different skill levels. I tend to just ride into the forestry and explore. I just wish we had the warm weather you get in USA.
