Didn't I sent you a CD last year with the files on it? If you do have it the directions are in the file           "1996GirvinALCLSuspensionForkInstructions"

Now that I have been shown how to send the whole thing online I can send it all to you if you did not get the CD.

That's where I saw the instructions. Yes you did send me a CD and what I need is on it. I totally forgot it was on there. For some reason I thought it was in the "How To" section of this site and thats why I could not find it.

Once again, thanks for the CD.

If you can, put the instructions in the 'How Tos" section or attach the link in this thread. Good info for all to have access to.

on the top axle for the fork there is a little hole woth a chamfer on it.You put in a small allen key (or similar and turn the whole axle 90 degrees is my recollection.Prolly have to loosen the bolts on the side first. The axle is eccentric...ie the hole through it is not in the centre

Thanks for the info. I have played around with this adjustment on my Girvin AL with Noleen coil over shock and it makes a huge difference in how the shock performs.  ;D You should check to see if the Vectors have it. It also gives my front fork 3-way adjust: preload, rebound adjust and the J-path adjust, which I think is great, because I love to fiddle with these while out on the trails. I guess it could be a 4-way adjust if I change the spring weight, but that's not easily done on the trail.

Yes, that's what I have said, Vectors DO have J-Path adjust, Crosslinks DON'T

and now we know that Girvin AL's and CL's also have J-Path adjust, which isn't a suprise as essentially they're a Vector with a Noleen shock on.
