Making knobby tracks in the white dirt.

Have had a pretty good snow biking year.  Anyone else out making knobby tracks in the snow?

I have but not that deep!! How have you mounted that rear mudguard? I like the look of that.

I was hoping for a chance to ride my all-wheel-drive bike in the snow this winter. Didn't get any. I hate winter in the South. It's cold and miserable and it doesn't even snow properly.

Ok ,so I said the snow wasnt as deep as yours!  ;) It did snow a lot more and got quite deep but I got cold and stayed in!!

 :) Its just the camera angle, really the seat is quite low. ;)
Actually I find by having my seat really high it improves my skills as on leaving the house I cant put a foot down for three hours unless I find a small wall.

That is the famous OP rear fender.  It is made from an older fender that attached to the seatpost.  OP do you still have info on it?

hehe I ride with my seat set up bolted like a road bike on my 854 lol (no QR)....but then I spend more time on XC trails, singletrack and climbs more than downhills... I had no options to ride in the white stuff this year :( but usually do most years...
