Painting Pro-Flex frame - what color?
«

I have a NOS K2 red frame, which is the same model as a x57 frame, which I pretend to slowly build over time.
I already have a matching NOS carbon fiber swingarm and a NOS carbon crosslink for it.
As I don't like the red frame, nor the K2 graphics, I pretend to paint the frame. I just can't decide on the color: if white (I like white bikes), if black, matte brown or other.
I saw on ebay that there is a yellow set of 957 decals, so I think they would be fine.
I've been considering the yellow bits (fork, decals, front and rear springs are also yellow). I could strip the paint and polish it, so it would almost become a 957, but I'm not sure I would like the aluminum look (altough I would use a clearcoat unlike the 957).
Can you give me some advice?

I'm also "pretending" to slowly build up some of my bikes......................<GRIN>
As for which colour you
intend
to paint your x57 frame, that's ultimately only your decision! So go with whatever
you
like!
Good luck and Happy New Year to all!

My frame is metallic blue with a satin finish. That might be a good color.

I thought about orange, but I think the yellow bits won't go very well with it. Proflex had a 97 beast in orange I was never fond about.
As for the blue, a very dark midnight blue in satin would indeed be nice, but I already have blue in my Proflex animal...
For a long time I also thought about a very dark satin brown (like some specialized bikes), but right now the idea is gone.
