yes, this was on here a little while back - it's from a TV program broadcast in our own little region in the UK - the East Midlands
Our next door neighbour works on that TV program these days.

Lotta Pro-Flexes in that bike shop. Mine's got way better parts on it now, though.

I *think* that shop is Leisure Lakes in Breaston (which is on my commute to work) and used to be a Proflex main dealer BITD.
Doesn't look much from the outside but it's a good shop inside.

Cool video of a cool bike...thank you for the link
Incidentally, I watched some of the related videos of nineties mountain biking and I noticed quite a lot of Pro-Flex bikes in action...made me feel all warm inside

I still have that mystery, left-for-dead 855 frame with Djernis' name on it handing from a pipe in my workshop. If only alloy tubes could talk...

Oh dear oh dear.
Nostalgia gets the better of me!
I think I recognise the park; Malverns? landrover test zone?
Dunno how you guys manage to keep those ally bikes alive; Ultra sport got so sick of me bringing them cracked frames thay gave me a carbon one...
Still going strong, with a bit of super glue and regular packages to Noleen J6

Racing was through with me by the time I bought my 855 in late '95. I did race it a very few times xc but the come from behind strategy in large crowds dictated a lot of pause for effect. The speedy guys taking the big hits were way out front. For me just a ride between waits actually. My fun riding did involve a few hard landings, especially early on. I did some largish drops and bent crank arms and a seat post. Killed two forks before Girvin improved the fastening of the bottom race area. Bent one fork leg and pulled out the brake boss catching air down a bunch of flights of stairs. Caught a handrail on that one and still rode it home. The forks were all warranteed and three ribs healed slowly.
Hank the Crank had some other videos playing in the shop where I bought the bike. I'll have to look up the proprietor and see if he has any more Proflex stuff stored. He sells European motorcycles now.
