was that 60 foot horizontal or vertical or combination? I had a horizontal one like that back in May but yours sounds a lot worse...

Holy crappola Pete  :o    how the hell did that happen?

Sounds like you're going to have plenty of time on your hands (I know what its like having a long time off the bike), so you've no excuse not to do your research and get your bike tip-top for that day when you can at last go for a ride in the countryside ;D

Best of luck :)

Hi guys
Such interest in injurys typical bikes fall was caused by bad balance and to much lack of fear whilst out with some mates for a few drinks tried to walk along bridge parapet iv done it before and got away with it but not this time.
The facts sixty foot bridge I'm 86kg and landed on feet one a bit before the other left leg hit first I think(i don't remember the fall or next day or four) one of my mates who is good with numbers says impact 20+ mph not that fast but enough over a small suffice area.
Lessons learned the NHS is the best in the world and falling sixty feet HURTS you and your family big time.
So guys live life on the edge but make sure it's not to high.
Ok back to Pro-flex theme been surfing the net and picking up some NOS Pro-flex stuff seals / bearings rear dropout hangers black red and polished alloy
Slowly getting nice XT 739 mechs and other bits to have if I want to return to stock not sure if I want full retro or updated so if i have both all the better still looking for drawings for rear disc mounting not to keen on getting alloy part of swinging arm welded so it's bolt on plate ori have seen alloy arm yellow as stock but not sure if that would fit frame mounts(pivot point)etc but should be easy to make and get plate made and welded.
PS if you want to stop smoking get put in hospital for six months getting fed morphine it works.

Not sure if it would work for you but there may ba a chance of getting some rear disc mounts made.

It lists the 1000 model in the instructions which I think is the same frame as the 857 so it should fit.
