What are you guys using for XC racing/light weight XC tires?

I've got a set of Michelin Comp S Lights that I love, but I think it's time to replace them. I'm looking at Schwalbe's Rocket Rons in either 2.1 or 2.25 width. What do you guys run?
Also, has anyone tried to fit Schwalbe 2.25s past HS33 brakes on a full carbon proflex/K2?
Thanks,
Rich

It really depends on the terrain you are riding.
I run Hutchinson Piranahs when it is dry and dusty, but as soon as it is damp, off they come for some Maxxis ignigtors (which are considerably heavier).
Is it were rocky or rooty, I probably wouldn't run the piranahs either.
Really comes down to the trail for me.

My Oz has Continental Mountain King 2.2 on the front @ some 490 grams. The rear is Kenda Karma 2.0 @ some 470 grams. The Mountain Kings are amazing as they will track anything with that Black Chile compound.
On my 957 I run Kenda Klimax Lite LR3s 1.95 @ 345 grams ea. The Kendas are really sticky, and just plain work better than Maxxis 310s.

WTB Mutano Raptor Race 2.4 with DNA compound, 560 grams each and wicked fast. Fastest tire I have ever ridden in firm conditions but really good in all but sticky mud. If it is dry and hard I would take these tires over anything made regardless of weight, if it is wet and sloppy they do great too. If it is loose and dry they are awesome. The downside is they do not shed sticky mud, clay is their downfall for sure. With the bigger casing lower pressures are realistic improving speed and traction. Wet roots, wet rocks, they just keep going very well unless clogged with mud. Used within their scope I can't find anything better.

Hutchinson Pythons for me...on my other bikes I have Smoke/Dart and Velociraptors, all lightweight foldable versions: 500g - 600g each.

The terrain here is very dry and very loose.
I am using the IRC Mibro 2.1, weighing in at 520g.
They go for 25$ USD a pop.
I would consider getting the Mibro Marathon for the rear (less rolling resistance) and the normal Mibro for the front when I get new tires though...
