IMHO, I wouldn't call $585 "a song" for a 12 year old bike..............but then again maybe I shouldn't be talking DOWN the value of our bikes? <GRIN>

My 857 is a Test Ride and came from USA. It was new and unused when I got it about two years ago, and as the story goes it was a left over from the factory when all the old stock was sold off to a Proflex Dealer, where it then sat unused in a shop store room. I was told the TEST RIDE bikes were assembled as factory testers for the factory/media/shops to try. The 'TEST RIDE' is under the laquer and is certainly done by the factory. It does kind of spoil the paint scheme but its also nice to own something a bit different.

Although it now wears Carbon Crosslinks with Risse Genesis and Astro 5 on the rear, carbon seat post and carbon riser bar. 8)

Thats a good spec bike in excellent condition and as the TEST RIDE bikes were built up in the factory for special purpose, its kind of a little bit of ProFlex history. Sure does look nice.
