That is nice. Very nice. I actually didn't realise you could get these frames this light.
I had been contemplating putting all the XTR off my Norco Faze onto the 955, now I might just have to do it once I can get a new set of brakes and a nice wheelset.

. I have a beater 1972 Schwinn Continental road bike that I use when my proflex is in the shop. It comes in at 42 lbs...haha almost double. Good work.

yeah - the 857/957 and 856/956 frames are lighter than todays XC full suspension frames. Coupled with modern parts, you can get to 10kg - like shovelon above.
You'll really feel the bike accelerate and climb extremely well - they ping around a bit on rocky sections though. I had a bit of a fall at the weekend because I tried to ride my orange 5 (26 lbs) at the same speed I ride the santa cruz bullit (35 lbs!) along a technical section. The O5 pinged off some roots and sent me off the side of the trail. I wouldn't even try it on the razorback.
I have the maxxis flyweight tyres on the razorback; but only use them for race day. I use panaracer cinders 2.25 as my normal tyre on the orange 5 and the k2 razorback. We need big tyres here in Stirling because most trails are steep and technical.
