Bedgebury ladies course in March.
« on: February 09, 2009, 12:17:04 pm »
Hi! Mrs Tel here,

Hope nobody minds but while Tel's not looking I decided to post in his name.

I am the ladies rep at Bedgebury Forest c.c. and I am trying to drum up some extra wheels to come along to our clubs lady specific mtb course that is happening on the 14th and 21st of March 2009, so please if you have a partner who happens to like riding bikes too and wants to improve their skills AND who happens to live in the south east of England then have a look at our website here:

http://www.boarsonbikes.co.uk/courses.html

It would be great to see another Proflex there to keep mine company, the clubs head coach used to ride one but has absconded to a Scott, so needs to get some stick for it from a fellow Proflexer!

Thanks

Ali.

Oooh - may have to get Tel banned for letting slip username/passwords ;)

Come and join us - register yourself :)

You might also want to flag this up on www.retrobike.co.uk - there are a few female members there too. Sounds a great idea. I wish I could get my Mrs into bikes, but it ain't happening :(

How deep is the mud over there?

Bet its  axel deep in places . we had so much rain in Hampshire last night whole feilds turned into lakes. Supposed to be dry for my myself and a collegues final friday ride prior to a change of career path for us both.

Sussex muddy@rse might be worth a post , they are nearer and have  some girly riders .
The downside of every climb is in the upside

Thanks Orange, I may do.  I don't know about having much to contribute, whenever I "look" in it's all a bit techy for me.

I'm more of a ummm Iv'e wrecked this Tel, can you fix it? Tel will tell you my middle name is "bikeslayer"! still keeps him in practice! ;)

IMO - The rain and snow has made it pretty bad, the biggest problem is that the soil is getting washed away on the rooty bits, bit lethal!
Will have look at muddy@rse, cheers. :D
