BIG fork on Oz
« on: January 28, 2009, 11:21:48 am »
I currently have a 100mm Marzocchi on my Oz.  What have the rest of you mounted on your Ozzies?  I have obtained a 130mm Marzocchi for my EVO build, but might have to try it out on the Oz.  The back end of the Oz is ~100mm.

I've got a Manitou Minute adjustable from 100 to 130mm. However, I don't like the 130 setting unless I'm doing a long downhill. It makes the bike really squirrely on climbs. I've got a Swinger 3-way on the back, which I absolutely love. The Minute is a nice match up front, esp in 100mm mode. The bike rides as well as it ever did. Now if only I actually had TIME to ride... :(

Yep. Go figure. Yesterday was a fairly typical example: Morning rounds at 6am, then two total knee replacements, followed by a 7 hour revision of a total hip replacement. Got home at 11:30pm and got to start all over again this morning at 6:00! The sweet tools make it all worth it though! REALLY looking forward to one of my rare vacations at the end of this month... (Not much riding to do around here anyway right now. The trails are solid ice after several weeks of alternating snow, rain, and freezing temperatures).
