Evo 4.0 Rear Disk Mount Dimensions?
« on: February 12, 2003, 08:39:59 am »
Does anyone have a clean mounting system with dimensions they would like to share for the Evo 4.0 frames?  I'm getting close to needing a new wheel set and would very much like to get into some Hayes disks.

If there was enough interest, I might be able to get a few fabbed up at a reasonable price.  LMK on that too.

Thanks

I would be interested too, If any one has any Information on rear disk brake adaptors for 2000 K2 EVO 4.0 (with carbon/composite swing arm), or know any other aftermarket swing arms for that frame, please let me know.

Thank You,

Vitaliy Khimich.

First up, if you'd like to just buy a premanufactured adapter, the HammerHeads have worked great for many riders.  They are made by Mike (Hammer) and sold & distributed though Callum, both of whom frequent this board.

Read the inventor's webpage here, or order one from RDI here.

If you'd like to make your own, specs for the rear disc mount are freely available on the web.  Check here for a PDF with measurements for ISO standard rear disc mounts.
