I believe the disk brake mounts were only for one or two brand of disk brakes (hayes was one of them, if I recall), so to fit another disk brake calliper he needs a custom made adapter.

oddly enough, we made disk brake adapters for this fork but then realised that no disk hub would fit between the kegs - since the bolts would foul the bottom of the legs. not a great design from RST.
Anyway, I am fitting disk brakes to mine for the 2007 SSWC (singlespeed champs) and have made an offset wheel to cope.
I have also replace the insides with coil springs and it feels amazing.
