Proflex 857 and spares for sale
« on: May 10, 2006, 11:18:08 pm »
I have for sale a Proflex 857, colour is red and medium size, with a carbon rear swingarm, the noleen coil/oil shocks are NR2 at the front and NR4 at the rear. The forks are Noleen ELT cross-link, these are almost new having seen just a few months use, all the pivots have been fitted with small grease ports. The groupset is all Shimano XT, except for XTR V-brakes. Wheels are XT hubs with mavic 517 ceramic rims and DT spokes, the rear rim is a bit worn and could ideally do with being replaced, tyres are red michelin HOT S. A new XT bottom bracket has just been fitted. Other details are: an FSA extreme headset, Shimano 747 pedals, Bontrager stem, Titec straight bars with Trek bar ends, micro adjust seat post and Turbo saddle. A datatag is fitted and the registration can be transferred.

There are a number spares which can either be included or sold seperately if anyone wants them, 2 NR2 front shocks, 1 NR4 rear shock, springs, various Girvin Elite fork bits and a Proflex spare parts catalogue.

I've owned the bike from new and it's been well looked after, no dents or damage, a few minor stone chips on the frame and stone chips on the cranks. The bike is complete, clean, shiny and ready to ride. I'm open to sensible offers. Surrey/Hampshire UK.

Can you post some photos of the lot to your gallery?

How much are you looking for the spare NR2's and the NR4 and the springs?

I'm in the UK.

I'm interested in the spare shocks/ springs.  what weight springs do you have?(I Need the stiffest)  will the shocks work on my 856?  I think so.

I can probably get pictures from a phone camera, but won't be 'til monday.

I was thinking of £55 each (posted) for the NR2's and £65 (posted) for the NR4. I think there are 2 springs, but can't remember what weight they are, say £5 each (plus postage), not sure what postage would be, would have to check.

Where are you in the UK?

I'll see if I can work out what weight the springs are.
I'm quite sure the shocks would fit an 856, I'll check the parts catalogue, can anyone else confirm it?

I'll definitley be interested in the springs - I'm looking for a medium say around 300-450lbs. Just the one will do, it's for my rear ODS. Happy to pay postage and £5, can do paypal or send bank transfer. I live in Derby.
