I just parted out my 855. I have 2 Risse shocks that are barely used.

I have the Genisis that was on my Girvin fork and the Astro 5 that was on the rear.

Hi Banger,

How much for both shocks and the pump? Send me a pm if you like and we can discuss shipping etc.

Cheers, Lee

Thought I should ask before purchasing... will both of the above mentioned shocks fit/attach to my Proflex 857 (i.e. remove Noleen coil/oil shocks and attach the Risse) or do I need any special parts to attach the Risse?

Cheers, Lee

Oracle,

I'm not sure of the fitmit between the 855 and 857. I guess you could email Risse and ask them if it is a direct fit or if you need an adapter.

They wont fit without a special adapter guy's here on the forum sell them, The 855 was an odd year as far as the rear strut goes~ so one for an 855 wont directly fit an 856,x57.x58

Sean, just got back from the post office. Your shock and pump shipped via USPS Priority mail.

You should have it within 2 to 3 days.

Enjoy!

BTW: I still have a Risse Genisis shock available if anyone is interested.

Barry.

Hi Lee,

Apparently they don't do Emails. Anyway, I have to call them for some more work on my Genisis. It is more responsive than before, but I just want it a little more comliant.

I have found that I need to leave a message in the service department. They are pretty good at returning my calls.

I will ask them about an Oz distributer.

I checked with Risse on any other distributers. They don't have any distributers in either Uk or Aus.

I did get an R.A. # right away from Robert at Risse.
They seem to want to keep working on my Genisis to suit my comfort. That is nice.

Yeah, I'll have to dig around my garage files to see if I can find it.

Mean while I'm going to call Risse and see if they have a pdf for this shock.

Barry.

Found all of the paper work for the shocks.

I'm making a copy to give to the person who buys the Genisis.

I'll get this in the mail to you on Monday morning.
