Suntour Forks - What Say UK?

Hey friends,
We don't see much Suntour stuff in the states, so there's very little info around.
If I believe the Suntour website, their stuff is bulletproof... hmmm. No weights listed.
In any case, what do "those who know" about the XCP Dirt Jumper forks? (SF-XCP75-DJ) Are they really 120mm? How much do they weigh? Do they explode like low end Manitou forks? Are they flexy? So many questions...
How does $79 (45 quid) sound?
Thanks,
Will

i have a pair of suntour xcp 75 with the lockout facility and i must admit that they were pretty good for a budget fork, the lockout worked great for the road sections we tackled on the coast to coast ride last summer, they seem fairly stiff (less flexy than the manitous i replaced them with !), the pre load actually works and the only reason i took them off my oz is the weight, theyre pretty heavy, that said, it might not be a bad thing if jumpings your thang! i dont think i actually ran my seals in as they were still pretty stiff when i took them off. i am thinking about refitting them to my xpx so i can run them with the disc hubs i have. £45 for a 120mm fork is a bargain if you ask me! buy a pair if you dont like them youve hardly broken the bank getting them and im sure someone would take them off your hands
oh yeah one last thing, the owner of my lbs reckons theyre built in the same factory as marzocchis well thats what the rep told him!

Thats a cheap fork
but you get what you pay for,
expect budget performance and weight but
for that sort of money very good value,
personnally I'd pay a bit more and go for a lower end
Marzocchi fork.

Thanks guys... I went ahead and bought it for my "freeride" 856. Y'know, the one with the chain roller, beefy rims, etc.
It will replace my old Marzocchi Z1 Flylite - which is sweet and soft, but pretty darn heavy and a little short of travel.
We shall see in 3 days... Oh, BTW, I got it for $39!!! Just happened to notice it in the corner of one of those super small print Adrenaline Bikes ads. Wow.
That's like 22 quid, eh? or $999 CAN (Andrew
