Shovelon,  is this the pic you're looking at?  http://images.andale.com/f2/110/111/18889333/1130455718670_1130037894401_PICT6030_01.jpg

if so, this is a pic of the S-Arm upside down, and is showing the D-Rail hanger point.

Wankel,

I can definately see the 2 mounting holes on the left side of the swingarm on one of the pictures. It is to mate a disk brake plate on it. That is what I don't have on my swingarm. This was K2 attempt that failled I believe.

I think I see the strut mounts on them. My work PC is really old so I can't make out so well.

Yep, I thought you were testing this initial bidder. Give some thought to the double snipe.

Good Luck, Terry

Yes. This was the same two holes that we had a thread a couple months ago about.  Then these 10 swingarms dissapeared.

Maybe these are the same ones.

OK Chad.  Got it now.  Won't fit on a 5000!  That explains why it looked funny.

Andrew sure has a nice looking ride, eh?

Hehe,  you're right. Your 5000 uses the same swingarm as my OZ :).
I'm sure you could MAKE it fit ;). But what would be the point :).

if you are serious you can download a little program that will bid automatically up to your predertimed limit within the last few seconds. If someone has this you wont have time to respond unless your bid is over the other guys limit.Seeing as they are x57 swingarms I would say the market is limited....

Hey guys, JUST to be sure - these s/arm's will ONLY fit the x57-styled bikes (aka, World Class rear), like mine and Terry's, eh? They WON'T fit the other's. No matter how much you want it to. Again, JUST to be sure.

Chad - you have your "instructions". You're covered either way - we'll all get them cheap. I will make sure of that.

Ionit and Jinder (he'll be by in a bit, i'm sure) - guys, if you're both in with me then Chad can send them to me and I can re-distribute them up here. Ionit, you're close, no problem there. Jinder, well, we'll figure something out easily enough. I will cover the shipping, you guys just pay Chad what you'd owe him directly. Let me know.

Ok, here's the scoop. As long as no-one out snipes me - we got'em. But, there's always that jerk out there on ebay land that thinks he'll be real smart and bid a bunch to get them. If they do...
1) there going to be paying quite a bit for them ;)....

and (MOST important)....

2) they better own a X57 frame - or know a lot of freinds that have some that's going to want them  hehehe !!!!  ;)  ;D

Good going Guys!
Keep everything crossed!

It's already been said, but.....
THESE ARE SWINGARMS FOR an 857 or 957 type FRAME !
DEFINITELY WILL NOT FIT A 4000, 5000, 4500 or 5500, 856, 956, XP-X !

If these were x000/x500 swingarms I'd definately have booked early for a couple of spares.
My one fear on my 4000se and 5500c is breaking the rear swingarm.........
I've already got an 857 frame that I've never made up, but buying a spare swing arm for that is just too much of an extravagance!

Incidentally, my 857 swing arm has got two threaded holes in the Left Hand dropout, just like these ones..........
http://images.andale.com/f2/110/111/18889333/1133706274278_1133395719343_PICT6031_01.jpg
I always assumed that the 857 was never disc enabled, but now I'm beginning to wonder!

The x56 type frame (as per my XP-X) has a different pivot point entirely and even the the struts meet the swingarm further away from the axle.

Oh what the hell, at that price I think I'll just put one on my XP-X (856) and lengthen the struts and thus the wheel base and see what happens...........(Maniacal laughter........)
