Problem with Crosslink Elite Steerer
« on: September 18, 2005, 04:50:52 am »
HI all, I've got a problem with a pair of Girvin Crosslink Elites I bought that have a shortened steerer tube.I bought them to replace the Vector 2's on my 96 Beast thinking I could just put the steerer from my vectors onto the new Crosslinks but its not going to work, the lower bushes are different(its also a 1" steerer but I can get round that with adaptors). So what I'm looking for is anyone who may have a 1 1/8 steerer for Girvin Crosslink Elites, I would buy them off you. I am based in the UK and its a real pain having my Proflex in bits with 2 sets of forks in pieces. Thanks all for reading this. Steve
