"new" proflex
« on: September 05, 2005, 07:00:53 am »
Need advice. I just inherited a PF Reptile and it's almost in perfect condition. I've been out of the game for a while but I remember guys who used to ride Proflexes and SWORE by them. Anyway, in doing a little research, I know that the Reptile was toward the bottom of the barrel but was wondering if anyone had any advice on what upgrades I should consider. It's good to see that there are so many of you out there. Thanks,

Simon

Difficult one,
you don't want to spend too much money on that frame though it is a good bike, rear shock upgrade could require some ingenuity your best bet would be to go for a good set of well built light weight wheels, decent tyres, more modern forks or the later X-Link forks, these items would transform your ride, thats where I'd start.
