Getting ready to ride at the Mt Pinos Nordic base.
Starting the ride with my buddies(Mom and Sister).
Sister taking a little breather at rocks.
Sister notices the foliage at 9000 feet.
This is nice shade of red.
This plant is totaly weird.
Ozzy reaches the peak and enjoys the view.
This trip was weekend of July 30. Loved it!

It is a Maverick. So far no beefs. Was a bit stiff early on, but is breaking in well. Apparantly I have the latest version which has stiffer dampening in compressed mode. Does really climb like it is locked out, but will give on hits.
Unlocked I have to move center of gravity rearward on downhills. Hitting the brakes can induce lots of brake dive. Really tracks well going down with front brake used.
Weight wise, it is not the 3.5 lbs. The latest ones have the rock shields and the safety clips which take it to 3.7 lbs.
