A guy wants to sell this frameset.

http://www.tolli.de/pics/offroad2.jpg

He says it is one of the first proflexers.
It's got no number.
He says the design is by KG. Who is that?
It's crafted by serotta

I have seen this frameset before here in the states.

Offroad was the company name before proflex. Notice there is no pivot at the rear wheel. And no damper other than the mcu behind the seat.

Would be an interesting piece of trivia if the Offroad was designed and built by Oldworlders.

I know! Look at my signature. If have 2 of those offroads. Next week it will be 3 of them. A offroad 952 is in it's way. I wanted to know something more specific about this frame. Like the year of manufacturing or the numbers built and stuff like that.

A interessting fact, isn't it? This is not for serious riding, but for being oldschool. For serious riding I got my other bikes. So it is ok for me.

Just like on my offroad proflex 853 and offroad proflex 252. And soon on my offroad proflex 952.

What do you mean by saying oldworlder? Ah, due to serotta, right?

Please. If someone knows some interesting facts about this frame, tell it to me!!
There's so less information about those old bikes.

And if someone's got some info about my 252, 853 and 952, .... give it to me!!!!

Thx!

Matti

PS: The guy demands 250 euros for this frameset. Including the oldschool springfork, an xtr headset and a bontrager stem. Pretty much I think, but the frame is brandnew! So I don't know what to do.
