Replacement rear shock for Noleen?
« on: April 13, 2003, 06:14:34 am »
Can anyone suggest a suitable replacement Rear Shock on a 3000 Pro FLex.  The Noleen-2 I have now has a badly pitted shaft - still working - but not for long I'm sure.

I'd like to pick one up on E-Bay so if anyone can give me the names of a few that will fit, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

DP

What you want to look for is a Fox Vanilla RC or R in either a  7.875 or 8.5" i2i.

Or try keeping an eye out for a Stratos Helix Expert or Risse Astro 5. But you could be waiting a while, they come up very rarely, compared the Fox shocks which are on there all the time. Your stock shock length is 8.25 i2i so you want something close to that range without going to far over.

I have a spare Fox RC 7.875, in perfect condition, that I picked up cheap at my LBS for $150.00. I'd let it go for $100.00 shipped if you decide to go that way, let me know.
