X-Gen front der on '02 Razorback

Curious if anyone has this set-up or if anyone's tried it and found it to not work properly? I can't seem to get it to work on my bike, and I'm wondering if there's something I'm doing wrong. I've got an FSA Team Issue carbon crank with standard 44/32/22 rings. If I place the der where it belongs, the chain hangs on the bottom of the cage when it's in the low ring. If I adjust for the low ring, the inside of the cage rubs the middle ring when I have it up on the big ring. Any advice?
