Oh, NOW I get it. You were going to put a wooden arrow into my spokes, not a stick. [smiley=laughing.gif] You sneaky guy you.

Very nice equipment, OP. Very nice catch, too. You must be proud. Mounting over the mantle?

ProFlex bikes & Black Widow bows.  You're my kind of guy.  Well close at least.  With me it's K2 Razorback Team & Howard Hill bows.
Congrats!

frank - the comment was only that it can be done, not directed at you personally, sorry.

yes, i am the one in the back, not the front.

i am going to bring my mountain bike on a fall hunt to get into 'non motorized' areas.  they do that to keep game in the area, not disrupt daily travel patterns of elk and such and to keep things quiet.  some areas are a few miles in and an mtb with a takedown bow is a distinct advantage - a gps is good to mark the spot where you left your bike (chained to a tree)

this bad boy (barbados sheep) was in the tehachapi mountains on a weekend hunt. named him 'javier' before he ended up in my freezer and taxidermist.

OP,  I seem to remember;

Was it you and/or Matno that were talkin' about hunting with your ride and Bob trailer?

So, it might not be that far off topic ?

Yes, I remember that conversation a couple of years back. I'm still hoping to try it, but I haven't had a single chance to hunt since I started med school 4 years ago. The near future (i.e. next 5 or 6 years) doesn't look particularly promising either... :(

I will do it someday though (hunt via mountain bike). It's just too good a combination to pass up!
