Hi Martin,
check out the 'how tos' section on this site for all manuals and bikes details for the proflex range. Proflex FS bikes started early nineties and continues with the K2 range, (K2 bikes bought Proflex). Also check out
www.k2bikes.com
, although they have the same basic info that is on this site.
The people on this site are also the best source of technical knowledge for these bikes.
good luck.
cheers Dan [smiley=beer.gif]

The first Offroad Proflex I saw was in 1988/89 (I think)it didn't have suspension forks but the Girvin flexstem,it had rear suspension via a strut with a small elastomer doing the shock duties, very limited travel but the bike was quite a sight in its day.

Simon, This sounds very much the same as the 1990 offroad iv'e got (steel flexi-stem and small elastomer rear) I will try and sort some photo's out.

I also have one of the original Offroad Proflex bikes from 1990, made by Serotta. I need a replacement for the elastomer spring used for the rear suspension. K2 doesn't carry it, and any of the other elastomers that I've tried (for front suspension) are too soft. Does anyone out there have advice about what I could use in place of the original?
Thanks for any hints you can provide...
