If you have those 4" long black accordian style plastic fork boots on the older Noleen forks you have probably experienced them tearing in the middle areas.
These boots are not available any more from K2 or even from the manufacturer RST (Rapid Suspension Technology) in Tawain.
http://www.rst.com.tw/
. I contacted virtually every RST distributor worldwide and corporate in Tawain to find a set.
I have a succesfull fix that is in PowerPoint that I put together. I did it this way to show my goddaughterthe capabilities of PowerPoint.
It involves removing them, fixing the the rips and tears with plastic glue, light sanding, then applying several coats of spray PlastiDip.
SEND ME YOUR EMAIL IF YOU WOULD LIKE THE POWEPOINT!
It has very clear close ups, pictures of the process, and product used.

Rogo,
Good Job! I went thru 2 sets of those boots before I went with the lizard skins. The Lizard skins did not work well as they rubbed the stantions dry. I have since sold the bike but the chubbies were amazingly good forks.
