Building My 5500 C

I'm taking my 5500c to Kazakhstan. I might be the only one there with one.
I want to build it up and need
suggestions
and
dimensions
.
I need a BB any suggestions for a good medium priced BB
I also need a crank set and a headset medium price.
It's been awhile. I would have put my carbon fiber crosslink back on it but could never find a replacement head tube.
Thanks
John

For your trip you'll want some fit and forget components,I'd go for a shimano XT Octalink B/B with an XT Octalink crankset, high quality reliable components at a reasonable price,
For the headset fit a Hope unit, fully sealed premium quality at an affordable price.
Not sure on the Octalink b/b size you will require, the old taper b/b was 73mm shell 113mm spindle, give this size to whoever supplies the b/b and they should be able to supply the correct Octalink b/b you would need to replace a taper unit.

If you want cross link forks. You can find some here
http://corporate.auctionworks.com/storefrontprofiles/DeluxeSFItemDetail.aspx?sid=200410121521370000000014367148&sfid=100961&c=40000754&i=53953009
This site is American and from what I understand Ediscount bought all of K2's extra stock.
