I've added a new picture to my gallery from the most fantastic ride I went on this summer.
Guardsman's Pass above Salt Lake City.
I'm not in the picture because I took it, but the panorama (with the help of Photostitch) is stunning.

I'll apologize in advance for the panoramic size. This picture is kind of wide.

that is a nice job with photostitch. what is the digi cam you used??? nice work with the focus on the near/far, too

That's a Pentax Optio 555, which has a panoramic feature. It allows you to take overlapping pictures, then stitch them automatically using ACDSee software. Works like a charm.

The camera is fantastic too. Haven't had it long, but it takes excellent outdoor pictures. Like any compact digital camera, it doesn't do particularly well in low light situations (at least not if there's any motion). However, for most situations, it works well. 5megapixels, 5x optical zoom, you can control just about every setting manually if you want, and it's really small. Just slightly thicker than a pack of cards and about the same length. Battery life is pretty darn good too.

not my pics or evenmy scenery,but quite a striking landscape anyways....
